Tunnel Creek

Exploring Caves , crawling , ducking, sliding amongst rocks that lead into dark places , the non love of bats and subsequent fear of meeting some and wading through cold water whilst in a dark place are probably the things that pop most  readily into my mind when i think of things that i would rather NOT do, as in, i don't think any of them would even make the top 100 of any "to do " list i made. Yet today the 21st June 2013 i did all of the above (except for the bats thank God) and lived to tell this tale!

The icing on this particular achievement cake of mine was that i had a round a bout 2 klm walk to do all of this.

Bill and i managed to see our first croc in the caves all tucked up dry at the back of a small internal cave hiding from us in the water! But it did make you stop and think about all the water you still had to wade through and the possibilities of what was in there with you...

A huge thank  you to  Bill and all my wonderful friends for encouraging me to do this with them - it was worth the effort and i am so glad i did it.

A special thank you must go to my new best friend ( you know who you are) for the "helping hand " you gave me!! ...Quite a "bonding" moment to say the least ...
